3. Special offset
Wheels with special offsets are used for vehicles with large track widths (e.g. 2.25 m). A deep-drawn disk will guarantee the welding point to be near the rim ring centre. If standard disks are used, the rim disk will have to be welded in the outer area of the rim ring. The risk of fissures will significantly increase due to a bad power transmission from the rim ring to the disk.

If no deep-drawn disks are used, the welding point is situated far beyond the rim ring.
