Wheels for tractors and agricultural equipment
The disks of our wheels are produced on a 1,800 ton Morane press. With material thicknesses of 12-18 mm and an offset of 220 mm we make wheels for any requirement our customer may have.
As a matter of principal, Grasdorf disks are made from one piece only which will enormously increase their quality standard.
The application of state-of-art welding methods (submerged arc welding) as well as the precise centring of each individual wheel will guarantee the excellent concentric running and the well-known stability of our wheels.
Our affiliated rim production specializes in the manufacture of any kind of rims for agricultural and other special vehicles. You will be supplied all the rims with the authorization of the Technical Control Board! Due to the combination of production and stock keeping any wheel required can be supplied by us within a very short time. If necessary, the rims will, of course, be repaired or modified by us as well.

- Better paint quality
As to wheels that have been welded on one side only, it is very difficult for the paint to be applied in the space between disk and rim ring which will often result in developing iron stains - Increased stability
compared to rim disks that have not been pressed into the rim ring by means of an initial tension
Wheels of different manufacturers

A wheel welded on one side – disk pressed into the rim ring with an initial tension – will attain the same stability as a wheel welded on both sides. This production method is only applied for large volumes and industrial scale manufacture (e.g. GKN, Titan).

A wheel welded on one side – disk inserted into the rim ring without any initial tension – will attain approx. 50 % only of the stability of a wheel welded on both sides. This method is mostly used for a wheel production related to individual orders.
